【About Us】
Shion ga Oka (Zion Hill) Christ Church is located at the center of Nishi-ku (West district) of Niigata City.
We are here to bring all people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, and to disciple and support them for outreach to Niigata City, Japan and to the world. We fulfill this mission through biblical teaching, authentic worship, sincere prayer, and Christ-like lifestyles.
Shion ga Oka Christ Church gathers for worship every Sunday from 10:15 to 11:30. You can come earlier for childrens’ service as well, and of course can stay after the service for some fellowship.

A Multi-Generational Church
You’ll see 30~40 people of all ages, and we come together as one family as believers in Jesus Christ.
Friendly People
We’d love to meet new people, so feel free to visit and introduce yourself. English is fine. Pastor and his family or someone else will always be there to talk with you, even in English. Please let us know how we can help you while being here. Or you can help us and others as a part of our team!
A Relaxed Atmosphere
You’ll notice some folks who like to dress up for church and others who don’t. Feel free to wear what’s comfortable for you, and you’ll fit right in.
Joyful Worship
Our Sundays include traditional and contemporary music, sharing, prayer, and expository Bible teaching. We are committed to gospel centered biblical stories to center our lives upon Jesus Christ and His teachings.

If coming by train, we are located a twelve minute walk from the Terao Station.
If coming by bus, we are located a five minute walk from the Terao-Shinmachi-Higashi Bus Stop(W20/W21/W22/W23) or Ikarashi-Chugakkomae Bus Stop(W10/W11/W12).
